Report on the Results: | The event recorded over 300 participants. This was a massive turn-out and its first time. Participants were mainly Students from different Senior High Schools in Ghana. As the start of the program, World Space Week and its purpose was presented to the students. The Event featured several activities including student project work demonstrations particularly robotics and also Amateur Ground Station operation for satellite tracking by the Space Science Technology Laboratory (SSTL). Students were also introduced to electronic circuit designs by Electronic and Communication Engineering department students of the university. Faculty members also presented to these visiting High School students. There was both Television and Radio media Coverage of the event. Generally, the event proved successful as World Space Week was embraced by such number of students for the first time in Ghana and we expect even more next year. The All Nations University management provided all logistics to facilitate this big event to host these 300 participants. It was a Success!! |
