| Event Description: | Armagh Planetarium is pleased to announce our Open Evenings are starting back up with World Space Week. Our Open Nights will feature a free presentation in the Digital Theatre show of Beyond the Blue, perfect for anyone starting out in astronomy and wanting to go on a tour of the night’s sky. This show will highlight some key constellations and objects to look out for in the autumn sky and if the clouds stay at bay you can put your new found knowledge to the test. To experience the marvels of the Universe you should see them for yourself through one of our telescopes which will be in use at the planetarium’s entrance throughout the night (weather permitting). Finally we will have guest speakers from the Armagh Observatory sharing their research and some of the recent discoveries in the astrophysics world. An out of this world evening not to be missed! This is a free event however booking is essential for the digital theatre show.
