| Event Description: | Sound is conveyed via headsets with a choice of Spanish, Valencian, English and Italian. Galaxies, stars born from clouds of gas and dust, the surface of Mars and spectacular views of our sun are but a few of the places that viewers explore on this extraordinary journey into deepest space. They also see the VLT (Very Large Telescope) and visit what is until now the world’s largest astronomical Project: ALMA, the Atacama Large Millimeter/Submillimeter Array, an international astronomical project in which Europe, North America and East Asia are collaborating, together with the Republic of Chile. In this film, the universe is brought to life on a giant screen through real images and simulations never before seen and created from data sent back by the VLT, ALMA and other telescopes such as NASA/ESA’s Hubble space telescope. |
