| Event Description: | The universe reprezented, since ancient times, a curiosity and a challenge for humanity. On the border of nineteen to the twentieth century in Romanian literature appeared more and more literary works approaching the possibility to travel in space and time, to reach the depths of the cosmos. Whether we refer to the founders, through the fantastico philosophical novel " Sărmanul Dionis " by Mihai Eminescu, the cult tale " Povestea lui Harap-Alb " by Ion Creangă or " La hanul lui Mânjoală " by I.L. Caragiale or that we transgress the limits to the twentieth century, between the wars, to find the immediate unreality of Urmuz works, the strange paradise in Mateiu Caragiale 's work or the pilgrimage to other spatio-temporal dimensions - in Eliade's works -we discover a constant run to unalterable essence of the world. |
