Report on the Results: | As a part of World Space Week (WSW), SPACE and Embassy of the United States collaboratively organized an interactive session for high school and college students at American Center, New Delhi on October 5, with the eminent speakers and representatives from NASA and ISRO. The session was based on NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar), a collaborative satellite designed by NASA and ISRO to observe and take measurements of some of the planet's most complex processes, including ecosystem disturbances, ice- sheet collapse, and natural hazards such as earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes and landslides. The session included an interaction with representative from NASA through video conference and a representative from ISRO to talk about the project and answer questions from the audience. |
