| Event Description: | Using Google maps to locate different important places, our house and our school. 1 hour per day event. |

| Report on the Results: | 100 students- 50 of them 10 years old and 50 of them 15 years old- were challenged to enter a Space Treasure Hunt- A trip around the world.. Using Google Earth and Google Maps they had to search for different locations: - The youngest students should find their house and their school and make a virtual trip using Google Streets view from their house to their school. - The oldest ones should find the 7 wonders of the world as seen from space and then go down to see them in all their beauty. A ppt with print-screens of the sites was created by every group of the students involved, the first group who completed the task were declared winners. The activity was promoted on facebook pages like WSW Romania https://www.facebook.com/groups/1616932628561253/ , Space Awarenes https://www.facebook.com/groups/spaceawarenessmoocs/ or our school facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Gh.Magheru/?fref=ts .
