These images are: Smoke and Haze over Southern Africa Ozone Depletion Looking at Ecosystems and Vegetation Fighting Fires with Satellite Imagery Space provides an excellent point from which to observe and record land surface changes. |

Space provides an excellent point which to observe and record land surface changes. Using maps from site http://earth.nasa.gov, students have seen polluted Earth areas, Ozone depletion , desertified areas. Students gain knowledge and in the same time they understood the need to protect the environment. |
