| Report on the Results: | On the eve of World Space Week Mr. C B Devgun was invited to our school for an interactive session with the students of VII class. He was welcomed by our school headmistress Ms Meena Malhotra with a planter. He highlighted the importance of ‘Remote sensing in enabling our future’ He highlighted that how the technology developed for space exploration is making our day to day lives easy and comfortable. In his talk he further highlighted recent developments in space exploration. The session was followed by a question –answer session with the students were initially questions were posed by the guest speaker for the students they covered topics like how do we know about the size and distance between different planets, sun, moon and earth. Later on students got an opportunity to seek answers to their queries on the subject matter. Their questions ranged from black hole formation to dimensions of sun moon. The session concluded with the Chief Guest presenting a certificate of appreciation to the winners of the Quiz which was concluded a day ago. |
