Report on the Results: | With great joy and enthusiasm the children of School number 30, Gheorghe Țițeica, Constanța, completed a whole week of activities dedicated to Space discovery and the various ways we can sense/ feel the Universe. Therefore, the youngest of them were involved in singing songs, watching cartoons and drawing and colouring- preparatory classes and first grades, while their colleagues from second and third grades viewed documentaries and space models and drawings reflecting their personal vision of the planets of our Solar System, spaceships and rockets and astronauts. All the children of class 3B made their Space Book and the ones in class 3C made a team Space Puzzle. The fourth graders were involved in making collections of pictures and presentations of their favourite Space Movie Characters, making art and craft images of the Universe, creating class books for the school library. They were supervised and helped by their class teachers and English teachers. The older students created presentations both PPT and on posters with information and curiosities about our Solar System, space travelling, breakthough discoveries regarding the planets that could possibly be inhabited by man in the future. They were coordinated by their English and Science teachers. This new celebration of Space Week left us richer and even more curious to discover the Universe. |
