Event Name:  HyperFalcos and the Future in Space Transportation
Event Description:  Space exploration and colonization requires a shift in the current transportation paradigm. We describe one possible such mode of transportation, the Hyperloop, a concept popularized by SpaceX in 2013. It consists of a vehicle traveling in a low pressure environment, such as the thin atmospheric pressure on Mars. On Earth this can be realized by enclosing the vehicle in a depressurized tube. We will detail the efforts of an enthusiastic group of students and faculty from UCCS and USAFA to advance this technology.
