| Event Description: | During the world space week, the Israeli Space Agency (ISA) which operates under the auspices of the Israeli Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, are having a series of lectures on space subjects, focusing on remote sensing. The lectures will take place in bars and pubs across the country, and are open to the public with no cost. Assaf Levin is aerospace engineer, former Major in the Israeli Air Force, and currently the head of the the spacecraft software team and responsible of the simulations system. Assaf workes at Space IL - an association which takes place in Google Lunar XPRIZE - Google's global competition which is an international modern race of landing an unmanned spacecraft on the moon. Assaf will tell the story of Space IL and it's high expectations in this race. The lecture will start at 20:00, and will last for an hour. |
