| Event Description: | During the world space week, the Israeli Space Agency (ISA) which operates under the auspices of the Israeli Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, are having a series of lectures on space subjects, focusing on remote sensing. The lectures will take place in bars and pubs across the country, and are open to the public with no cost. Prof. Yoav Yair is dean of the School of Sustainability at IDC Herzliya. Prof. Yoav will talk about remote sensing of lightnings, and the way researchers investigating lightning on Earth and on other planets inside and outside our solar system. The lecture will start at 20:00, and will last for an hour. |
