This event started a debate on the topic of the benefits of observing the Earth from such a point of view. At 13 o’clock, in the Informatics Lab, the students got to know a few notions of Remote Sensing and geographic photo-interpretation, they saw the documentary „Soyuz launch sequence explained” and searched for diferent locations using the app GoogleEarth. These two activities enjoyed a great deal of interest on the part of the students; the viewed documentaries, the discutions which were carried, the apps used raised the students’ interest and willingness to learn and know more about this subject.
