| Event Description: | To celebrate World Space Week, students of class VIII, IX and X visited the Nehru Planetarium to attend a workshop on the topic “Meghnad Saha and an Astronomer’s understanding of the Stars”, on the 6th of October 2016 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, commemorating birth anniversary of Indian Astrophysicist Meghnad Saha, who made seminal contributions towards an understanding of stellar atmospheres through his pioneering work now known as Saha Ionisation Equation. They interacted with Dr.Rathnashree, Director of Nehru Planetarium and got answers to their questions. They learnt a lot and enjoyed themselves. |
