| Report on the Results: | Seasons and Earth & its shield: In this session we first establish the different changes that we observe during the season change. These changes are: change in temperature, constellatios, path of the sun and duration of day and night. Then we move to the reason behind that. But before that we establish the difference between whether, climate and seasons. First we establish the change in constellation using revolution of earth and then move to the temperature which is governed by tilt of the earth. Finally we do few more activities to explain the path of the earth and also discuss about the solstices and equinoxes. Then we move to the discussion of earth's atmosphere and its various layers and what all phenomenons are occuring in differing layers. We also discussed about the importance of atmosphere and its harmful effects in astronomy and space sciences. Finally we discussed about the Magnetosphere of earth and how it protects us from geo-magnetic storms and Aurorae. |
