| Event Description: | To commemorate the launch of SPUTNIK, the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center in the Mall of Asia, Pasay City Philippines, will premiere a Dome/ Planetarium film entitled DAWN OF THE SPACE AGE (DSA). DSA is a 45 minute film which depicts the history of man's exploration of space - from the launch of Sputnik, the space race between the US & USSR, the magnificent lunar landings of the Apollo missions to the Space shuttle program, the International Space Station and private commercial space flight. It is 45 minute film and will also be supplemented by other activities such as experiments, interactive activities geared for young children. The film will screen 4X daily beginning October & will continue until September 2011. |
