Event Name:	The Secrets of the Universe
Event Description:	On 7 October 2010, starting with 12.00 a.m. our school organizes more events: exhibition of drawings, experimental devices, drama, a visit to the Observatory in Baia Mare.

Report on the Results:	The Mysteries of the Universe Willing to find out more and more things about the Universe, the students from "Mihai Viteazul" Vocational High School from Zalau, together with the students from "Voievodul Gelu" Vocational High School from Zalau have performed a number of cultural-scientific activities within the project "the Mysteries of the Universe". The event was organized in order to celebrate the "Cosmic Space Worldwide Week". 400 students participated at this event, all of them being thrilled with everything they saw and found out. Schedule of activities: On the 7th October 2010 the following activities were organized: -launching messages into the cosmic space -presentation of Power Point materials realized by students -exhibition of drawings, panels, models and posters -a contest with the theme "The Solar System" - poems recited and written by the students themselves and by the national poet Mihai Eminescu, having as a theme the cosmic space The activities of the project ended with a trip to the Baia Mare Planetarium on the 8th October 2010 where the students had the opportunity to travel through the stars. The official coordinators of the project: teachers Mariana Driha, Doina Pop, Rodica Damsa. The following teachers also helped at the organization of the event: Felicia Coroiu, Oana Tegzes, Viorica Dascal. Partners: "Voievodul Gelu" Vocational High School, Zalau, teacher Ioan Driha Baia Mare Planetarium The following teachers participated at this activity: Headmistress Ioana Cornea, Viorica Remes, other teachers and media representatives. The entire activity will be published in the Physics magazines "Atomica", "Rebus", on the Physics blog www.mihai-viteazul.ro. It was made public in the local media "Magazin Salajean", "Graiul Salajului", "Adevarul de Seara Zalau" and "Focus TV Zalau". The activity proved to be a real success among the students, teachers and guests.
