Event Name: | Lunar Gateway Coding Challenge |
Event Description: | Calling all K-12 teachers! Artemis is NASA’s program to get humans back to the Moon by 2024 and prepare for missions to Mars. Artemis astronauts will orbit the moon in the Lunar Gateway as they conduct research and prepare for lunar surface exploration. Just in time for World Space Week, the second Tynker Moon 2 Mars coding challenge gives students the opportunity to imagine what life as an astronaut might be like aboard the Lunar Gateway and code a story. Teachers can prepare for this challenge by reviewing teacher guides and NASA resources at the respective Tynker Blocks and JavaScript project pages. NASA will judge and select three winners for each programming language. Winners will have the opportunity to invite a NASA expert to speak to their class via a video call. Open to students everywhere! For more details, read the blog at http://gotyn.kr/nasatynker2 |
