| Event Description: | A letter-writing competition is arranged by AstronEra for the age group 13 to 17 where they will write letters to Famous Astrophysicist, Dr. Jyant Narlikar. Top 5 students with the best letters will be selected to meet with Dr. Naralikar personally at IUCAA. The well-acclaimed exhibition, "Above and Beyond" by the IAU is exhibited and is open to visitors throughout the WSW2019 at AstronEra. every evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Hubble space telescope model making workshop is organized for the students of age 13 to 17 at AstronEra on 5th October from 2 pm onwards. (Limited entry with registration first come first serve) The moon will be shown through the telescope on Friday 4th October evening from 7pm to 8pm Jupiter will be shown through the telescope on Saturday 5th October evening from 7pm to 8pm Saturn will be shown through the telescope on Sunday 6th October evening from 7pm to 8pm Astronomy Movie Marathon from 9 am tom 9pm is organised on Sunday, 6th October for free (limited entry with registration first come first serve) |
