Event Name: | Astronomical Observations |
Event Description: | When: October 2 and October 3 from 19:00 to 22:00 (7 PM - 10 PM). Where: The Monument to the Conquerors of Space, located at the entrance to The Museum of Cosmonautics (Prospekt Mira, 111). The Moscow Astronomical Club, together with the Museum of Cosmonautics, will conduct free astronomical observations on the evenings of both October 2nd and 3rd from 19 to 22 (7 PM - 10 PM) in front of the museum. We will direct our telescopes at the most interesting objects in the Moscow sky such as Saturn and Jupiter. Participants can look at the bright stars and star clusters, as well as see a fly by of the International Space Station. Please note: Observations will only take place with clear skies.
