| Event Description: | October 05 and 06, 2019 the Institute of Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the House of Children's Creativity Zvenigorod spend open days at the Zvenigorod Observatory. Beginning of sessions at 12, 4 and 8 p.m. At 12 and 16 p.m. excursions and popular lectures on astronomy will be held. During the tour, you will be able to see the telescopes of the observatory, as well as look at the telescope in the sun. In a clear sky, only observations will be carried out (up to 11 p.m.). At 8 p.m. excursions and lectures will be held. During a session of 8 p.m. in clear weather, excursions will not be conducted! With a cloudy sky, excursions and lectures will be held. There is no possibility to spend the night at the observatory. You can park your car on the driveway. If you tried to pass on the territory yourself! Call the phone number and arrange to be met at the checkpoint. Pre-registration is not required. The event is held free of charge. |
