| Event Description: | Why do stars emit light? Which planet of the solar system is the hottest? How many constellations are there in the whole sky? The Moscow Planetarium will hold an astronomical test on the eve of its 90th anniversary. It will be held from September 30 to October 6. The time was not chosen by chance - on September 30, Astronomy Week began, and on October 5, International Astronomy Day. Astrophysicists have prepared a test of seven blocks, each with five questions. To answer them, it will be enough knowledge of the solar system, constellations, comets and meteors, the history of astronautics. For the first time, such a control was held by the Moscow Planetarium in October 2016. Then over 12 thousand people from 24 Russian cities took part in the project. After checking, it turned out that not one city had a rating of "excellent". The average mark is “three”. The most difficult then were questions about the discoverers of the planets and space exploration. Three years have passed. During this time, astronomy was returned to the compulsory school curriculum. And the Moscow Star House announces the control again. This time it is conducted only online. You can pass the astronomical dictation on the official pages of the Moscow Planetarium in social networks: In contact with On Instagram and Facebook, the test questions are published in the story. On each of the seven days of the International Astronomical Week, from September 30 to October 6, one new block of 5 questions will be published. And every day intermediate results will be summed up: how many people coped with the tasks from the scientists of the Moscow Planetarium. The results are summarized on October 7. |
