| Event Description: | As a part of World Space Week Celebrations being organized in the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad a bilingual eassy writing competition will be held on October 6, 2011 at the IST premises. Thirty four schools will take part in the competition.The students would be given a duration ofone hour to complete their essays while staying within the prescribed word limiting of one thousand words. Judges have been invited to evaluate the essays and to award the first, second and third prizes. |

| Report on the Results: | As a part of the World Space Week Celebrations at the Institute of Space Technology , Islamabad, a bilingual easy writing competition was held on October 6, 2011 at the IST premises. Thirty four schools took part in the competition. The topic for the Urdu essay writing competition was “The Wide Expanse- from Earth to the Heaven”and the topic of the English essay writing competition was” Every cubic inch of the space is a Miracle”. The students were given a duration of one hour to complete their essays while staying within the prescribed word limiting ofone thousand words . Judges were invited to evaluate the essays and to award the first, second and third prizes. The names of the prize winners in the English Essay Writing Competition are Bakht Jamshaid of The City School Capital Campus Islamabad, Aishah Sardar Hitec College For Women, Mahrukh Mumtaz of Fauji Foundation College For Girls, Rawalpindi. The names of the prize winners in the Urdu Essay Writing Competitions are Waheed Ullah of PAF Public School Lower Topa, Maha Nadir of Fauji Foundation College for Girls, New Lalazar, Mahnoor Amin Hitec College Taxila. |
