| Report on the Results: | Astroviernes - International day of observation of the moon in the UTP The UTP Astronomical Observatory (El Observatorio Astronómico UTP) opened its doors to the general public to observe the moon by the 16-inch main telescope and educational talks about the Moon were shared, in addition the UTP Planetarium had observation by telescopes and short talks with teaching material about from: The arrival of man to the moon, the lunar surface, the phases of the moon among others. The event took place on Friday, October 4 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The organizing team of the event was: The Alpha Orion Astroengineering Research Group. (El Grupo de Investigación en Astroingeniería Alfa Orión) The event was attended by approximately 217 people and more than 15 volunteers from the Astronomy group participated in the organization of the event. Thanks to “Planetario UTP, Observatorio Astronómico UTP and Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira” the event was a success. |
