| Event Description: | Quiz related to different domains of space technology shall be conducted from teams of different participating schools at Satellite Research and Development Centre-Lahore from 0900-1300 hrs . |

| Report on the Results: | A number of schools enthusiastically participated, each well prepared with the quiz material. A team of two students, from class 6th-8th, were allowed to participate from each school. Teachers and five students were allowed to accompany their team according to the seating capacity of the organized event. Questions were asked from the Space Information Booklet which was made available on the website for download and a single copy of the same was also posted by courier to the invited schools. 60 % Questions were prepared from the Space Information Booklet and 40% questions were from the following topics: a) Space aided search and rescue operations b) Deforestation and desertification monitoring through space/natural disaster monitoring through space c) Environmental pollution monitoring and mitigation Competition was conducted in three rounds eliminating teams in each round so as to decide for the final three positions. |
