| Report on the Results: | This was the first time that a space related event had been organized in Bahawalpur by SUPARCO. The WSW-2012 activities started formally with an inaugural ceremony held at the main Auditorium, Islamia University, Bahawalpur (IUB) on 8th of October, 2012. The chief guest of the occasion was the Corps Commander Bahawalpur, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Haroon Aslam.Presentation was delivered on the event, i.e. World Space Week, Space activities going on in the World and the activity carried out by SUPARCO. Later a lecture was also delivered on the activities of SUPARCO in Satellite launching and operation. |
