| Event Name: | Painting /Sketching Competition |
| Event Description: | Painting and Sketching competition shall be held on October 4, 2012 at IST lawns from 1000 – 1400 hrs. Students shall be invited from schools/colleges to take part in the competition. All the paintings and sketches shall be displayed in the IST galleries during the whole event. The winners shall be announced by the jury and prizes will be awarded at the end. |

| Report on the Results: | Painting and Sketching competition was held on October 4, 2012 in IST lawn. Twenty Eight schools took part in painting and Twenty Two in Sketching competition. They came up with some very good ideas and showed quite a mature hand in painting and sketching. All the paintings and sketches were displayed in the gallery which was visited by a large number of the general public. The judges awarded the first, second and third positions. In Painting Competition the prize winners were Ahsan Shafiq of Bahria College Islamabad (Boys Wing) E-8, Islamabad, Ali Asghar of PAF Public School Lower Topa Murree and Affaf Zubair of Jinnah Education System (College Wing) Taxila Cantt.
