| Event Description: | The students of "Ionita Asan" National College promote the WSW by organising a drawing and poster exhibition;by presenting aspect of the astronaut's life(scientific experiments on board,disturbing the activity of human body)and Dumitru Prunariu's memories-the only Romanian astronaut who has ever travelled in Cosmos.Student involved in this project had to take part in a Quiz on Astronomy, watch documentary about Universe, Milky Way, sattelites and express their ideas and opinions about using peacefully the Outer Space. Popularization of science and astronomy and astrophysics among young generation. Workshop,Power Point presenting the latest news from NASA,and ESA. Observation of the stars by galileoscope. |

| Report on the Results: | The students seemed to be really interested in the topics we had prepared for them: a presentation of the universe as a whole and another presentation of different celestial bodies. They looked on Galileoscope (with a special filter) to the solar disc.The stundents made pictures with their visions about spaceflights and searched informations about astronomic events on Astronomic Observatory's site. A group of 11 grade students have achieved: - a power point presentation about humans first attempts to escape to outer space, more precisely about artificial satellites , about the Moon, the Solar Sistem and the Milky Way. The enthusiasm of the students proved to us that all our initial objectives have meet with success. |
