| Event Description: | Please join us on October 9th at 12:00 Noon PT on Zoom as scientist and retired astronaut Cady Coleman discusses the issues and challenges surrounding STEM education. In this fireside chat, Cady will talk about her experiences of being a woman in a male-dominated field (including but not limited to the lack of women’s bathrooms!) Also the issues and challenges surrounding STEM education, and the opportunities for building a brighter future for students and the country at large. This one hour Zoom talk will be held on Oct 9th at 12:00 noon PT, Attendance is limited to 100 participants max. The event is for Dent community members by invitation only, but non-members are welcome on a space-available basis. At the link provided here, non-members can request an invitation. |
