| Event Description: | This department has a special interest in organizing various space communication related programmes such as satellite communication course, workshops, seminars visits to ISRO centres. This event has been planned for 200 students plus 15 staff who belong to vibrant ECE community in this campus. The topic covers the remote sensing satellites and their applications in GIS. Remote sensing and GIS field expert/scientist School of Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli will be the resource person for this one day event! Timing: From 9:00am to 5:00pm |

| Report on the Results: | This event was successfully held. The organizer Prof.Suganthi, Chief guest cum theme speaker Dr.C.J.Kumanan Director and special speakers
Dr.K.Palanivel & Dr.J.Saravanavel, Asst. Professors
from Centre for Remote Sensing and GIS, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli spoke. The College chairman Er.M.Subramaniam, Vice-Chairman Mr.R.V.Prasanna Venkatesan, Dr.W.Christraj, Principal, Dr.N.Saivaraju Dean felicitated the programme. The event co-ordinator
Ms.G.Premavathy, Assistant Professor enthusiastically united all students, staff, authorities as well as the guests.
The programme was enlightened for a vibrant communication engineering participants of around 200 members including students and staff inside
the campus. She introduced the guests and offered welcome gesture!
Everyone appeared filled in their minds with space wonders and the sophisticated life due to world level space achievements by various countries which have been the real success of the programme!
