Report on the Results: | What a wonderful day. “Simple but spectacular” that’s how I describe our event. We have four booths and each one was assigned into a certain topic. First, the visitor to our exhibition will be introduced to the World Space Week and its message. Then, she is going to listen into a description of Mars, the red planet, and the history of international space flights that had been sent to discover it. After that, the visitor would meet the star of the day “Curiosity”, the latest mission to Mars. We have built a model of the lovely rover to enable out visitors to have a closer look at the robot and to know in details the advanced technologies used in it. In this booth, also, we gave information about the mission of Curiosity, its latest discoveries and we shed lights on the outstanding landing process. In the last booth, many inventions were presented in order to tell the visitors about the important contributions of NASA that make our life easier and safer. Memory Foam, Sunglasses, Cochlear Implants, Insulin pump and mobile phones are examples of technologies that originally invented by NASA to solve the peculiar problems of space exploration. At the end, each visitor picked a star, wrote on and pinned it on our sky. This star carries the visitor’s opinion of our event and her expectations for the next World Space Weeks. |
