| Event Description: | BUITEMS – Arts Gallery (0930 – 1200 hrs) Poster competition shall be held on October 9, 2013 at BUITEMS. Students shall be invited from schools/colleges to take part in the competition. All the posters shall be displayed in the BUITEMS galleries during the whole event. The winners shall be announced by the jury and prizes will be awarded at the end. |

| Report on the Results: | After the inauguration ceremony, Director SUPARCO& VC BUITEMS were escorted to the Expo Hall where the Fair & Exhibition was formally inaugurated. During two days Fair & Exhibition SUPARCO stall was the main focus of the Expo Centre due to its huge size and informational material. The stall was divided into five separate technical sections of Geo-Spatial applications including Agriculture, Disaster, Infrastructure, Models of satellites and rockets and Fly Through video sections.The visitors including Faculty, students, public and media people showed extraordinary interest and were greatly impressed by the damage assessment maps and Fly Through videos of recent earthquake of District Awaran. This was a great show portraying the Geo-Spatial technology applications at a crucial time. It was an exemplary SUPARCO’s stall decorated with 50+ standees of various posters of Geo-Spatial applications, Technologies, Space Milestones and other interesting awareness material. While visiting the SUPARCO stall, Dir SRO Quetta briefed the VC regarding the exhibits in detail. VC BUITEMS appreciated SUPARCO’s work and watched fly through video of recent earthquake in district Awaran. |
