| Event Description: | Ghotvi Hall (Old Campus) 10.00 a.m. Water rocket competition shall be held during the second day of space fair as well. Schools of District Bahawalpur will participate. |

| Report on the Results: | The theme of this competition is to create awareness of rocket sciences and its governing laws among school children. Water Rockets are made from PET bottles and are filled with water and compressed air. After release from launcher Rockets move in the desired direction under the influence of reaction forces produced due to release of compressed air and water. The rules for making and judgment were uploaded on SUPARCO website before the event. The winning criteria were to hit the target at a distance of 60m from launcher or drop near the target. During judgment stability of flight was also considered. |
