| Event Description: | The event will be organize on 4th of October by our Astronomy Club, ORION. We will have lectures and Power Point presentations prepared both by students and by our coordinating teachers, Mariana Osman and Tatiana Pana. Our activity is dedicated to the first anniversary of Curiosity on Mars. We will share information about the rovers sent to Mars, about Curiosity’s mission accomplishments and their importance to mankind. We will try to understand why studying Mars is so important for the future of humanity and what the main objectives of the mission on the red planet are. We will study the photos sent by Curiosity to understand why Earth and Mars are considered sisters. We will invite a former student in our school to show us the performance of the rover he built when he was in the 8th grade. We will invite our parents and other students to attend the event. |
