Event Description:  Online event via Zoom - 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm BST, Thursday 7 October Hear direct from the team just before the launch: Professor Gillian Wright, MBE, European principal investigator for the Mid-Infrared instrument on the James Webb Space Telescope; Director of the U.K. Astronomy Technology Centre in Edinburgh, Imperial alumna The James Webb Space Telescope will find the first galaxies that formed in the early universe and peer through dusty clouds to see stars forming planetary systems.
