| Event Description: | On the occasion of World Space Week, the students from Liceul Tehnologic Gherla (grades 9th- 12th) and Scoala gimnazial nr. 1 Gherla (grades 6th -8th) organize several activities: thematic projects, essays, Power Point presentations, posters and drawings. The timetable of the activities is the following: Monday, 7th Ocotber 2013 – posters exhibition Tuesday, 8th Octover 2013 – essay contest, communication session Wednesdayy, 9th October 2013 – Power Point presentation – Prizes |

| Report on the Results: | World Space Week was celebrated by the Students of Scoala generala nr. 1 and Liceul Tehnologic Gherla through essays, drawings and posters. The activities were conceived as a contest between the 7th and 8th grade students as follows: - Monday, 7th Ocotber 2013 – ‚Posters’, exhibition of posters made by the students (Liceul Tehnologic) - - Tuesday, 8th October 2013 – ‚Posters’ , exhibition of posters made by the students (Scoala Generala nr.1) - Wednesday, 9th October 2013 - ‚Essays’, discussions, debate, essay contest. Prizes. (Liceul Tehnologic) - Thursday, 10th October 2013 – ‚Essays’, discussions, debate, essay contest. (Scoala Generala nr.1) This event involved all the students form our school, they were very excited to work and discover new and interesting things about the space and, ultimately our planet. The best essays and posters were declared winners and the students have received a ‚Certificate of Participation. |
