| Event Name: | Going in space to Mars |
| Event Description: | A group of students coordonate by a group of teachers,Băguț Mihaela, Muscaș Viorel, Juncu Rodica and Juncu Vasile will prepare all the material use in this activities. Thursday, 10th Octomber, we will present a PPT Presentation about Solar Sistem to sixth grade students. After that we will compare weight of Mars with the other planets. Then, the sixth grade students will be guided to build and launch racket models. Friday, 11th Octomber, the students from tenth class will attend presentations about Universe, Celestia and Stellarium- astronomy programs,Romanian astronaut, Dumitru Prunariu. One of the teacher(Viorel Muscaș) will be presents the unique experience from NASA Educational Center. |

| Report on the Results: | Thurday,the sixth grade students started the trip to Mars with an exibition of drawings. After,compared the masses of planets with Mars and we talk about what astronauts eat in space we started build rockets folowing NASA and ESA educational models.When we finished we launched in space. Their enthusiasm proved to us that all our initial objectiveshave meet with succes.The activities have ended Friday when, the tenth grade students talked about Universe, astronomy programs, Dumitru Prunariu, Teacher Viorel Muscas presented his experience to NASA educational center. |
