| Event Description: | This is the first astro-tourism training workshop for the Hanle Dark Sky Reserve. The local community members who have been selected to receive telescopes will be trained on using them, and about the night sky. This workshop will be from 3-7 October, with day time lectures and night time sky sessions. This w/s is organised by Indian Institute of Astrophysics at its Indian Astronomical Observatory, in collaboration with the administration of UT Ladakh and LAHDC Leh. |
