| Event Description: | As part of the International Aerospace Festival, mentors from Mobile Quantorium 53 held events with students in grades 6-8 at School No. 1 in Kresttsy on the occasion of Space Week, dedicated to the launch of the first artificial satellite. As a warm-up game children answered questions of varying difficulty level on space subjects. For example: "Were all astronauts awarded the medal "For the development of virgin lands?" or "Astronauts in orbit eat with earth spoons?" etc. At the second stage, future space wanderers passed an educational quest, characterized by elements of the plot, role-playing and associated with the solution of certain tasks for a limited time. Teams consistently passed stations in different fields of knowledge: starting with mathematics and ending with physical education. The children recollected stories from science-fiction works, read space pictures, recollected the history of astronautics and took tests for eligibility for the astronaut squad. |
