| Event Description: | The activities of the World Space Week began at the Umrah Bint Yazid School in bibarahrah, which is affiliated with the Al-Mandaq Sector in Al-Baha region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Thursday 6/10/2022 at 6:45 am, with a school radio about Space Week, sustainability and space, and the efforts of Muslims in astronomy, as clips were shown. A video for students about the sustainable development goals. On Sunday 9/10/2022 at 11:00 am, the third year secondary school students carried out a workshop entitled Sustainable Development Goals and Space for middle and high school students, in which they talked about four goals and how space technology contributes to achieving them. The students gave distributions to those who attended the workshop. Introductory videos were shown for the four goals they touched upon. On Monday 10/10/2022 at 11:30 am, one of the teachers conducted a scientific symposium entitled (Sustainability and Space) for middle and high school students, in which she talked about all the 17 sustainable development goals and about the contribution of space technology to them, and she talked about the successful Australian experience, and presented Meaningful educational videos, including the participation and activities of the State of Pakistan in the 2019 Space Week. |
