| Event Description: | This year, the main focus of our WSW event will be the partial solar eclipse. We aim to provide solar film glasses to attendants and will have a solar telescope on venue. Previous to the event, a workshop on camera/telescope filters and proyection devices will be hosted. Doors will open at 8 am, with the eclipse maximum at 9:28 am. The event ends at 3 pm. After 10 am, we will host science talks, activities for kids and teens, and an IMAX film. Consult the event webpage for further details. |
