| Report on the Results: | Space Technology Teachers' Training Workshop for about 100 teachers of different schools/colleges was organized and conducted by 1ST in collaboration with Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) at "The Science School" H-9 on October 10, 2013. The faculty of 1ST stressed on the need of creating awareness of Space Technology among the masses and emphasized on the role of school/college teachers in educating and inspiring young minds to discover the unexplored universe. The speakers also highlighted the advancements made by Pakistan in the field of Space Technology. Successful launch of PakSat-lR by the scientists and engineers of our national space agency, SUPARCO was shared with the participants of the workshop. The participants were inspired by the first cube satellite of Pakistan ICUBE -1 by Institute of Space Technology which will be launched in November 2013. The workshop was organized in different sessions by the top space technology scholars of 1ST. |
