| Event Description: | Celebrate World Space Week by joining us for our space themed programme of activity. Get hands on with space in our Space Rocks drop in workshop where you can hold 4.3 billion year old meteorites and see samples of Moon rock and soil with your own eyes! Design and launch a capsule that will return your egg astronaut back to Earth in one piece in Eggnaut Challenge, or join us in the Fantastic Forces science show where we investigate the forces needed to get a rocket into space. Stargaze in our Planetarium or experience a multimedia musical feast amongst the stars with guest presenters Let’s Talk About Space. You can also engage with cutting edge research happening right here in Scotland through our Meet the Expert programme. A variety of Planetarium shows and Meet the Experts run throughout the week. Space Rocks drop-in workshop from 2pm-4pm and Eggnaut Challenge workshop held four times daily on Sat 4th, Sun 5th, Sat 11th and Sun 12th Oct.
