| Event Name: | ANU - SSTL World Space Week 2024 |
| Event Description: | For the first time, a cross-continent competition will be organized for high school students in space science and satellite technology, focusing on climate change. The competition will feature both STEM students and Arts students. For the stem category, engineering students of the All Nations University in Ghana will deliver online training on satellite signal processing. The signal includes some simulated satellite climate data, images, and astronaut communications. After the training, students will be engaged in the competition. For the Arts category, students will be engaged in a space-related drawing and painting competition, molding competition and space poetry (spoken word). The competition shall be remote/online while students' work will be displayed online for voting. The winners will receive prestigious certificates and other incentives. We expect to have large participation from 15 African countries. The competition will be hosted in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. |
