| Event Name: | DIY Telescope for young scientists |
| Event Description: | After learning the parts and kinds of telescopes, the documentary about the James Webb telescope will be watched in two lesson hours for a better understanding of the topic and increasing the interest about the science and space. Then, for showing the telescope parts with concrete materials, a model of telescope will be designed by students in two lesson hours. This activity's aim is to increase students' astronomy awareness levels. In the activity the groups will be designed among students by teacher. Students bring waste materials like paper, toilet paper, cardboard etc. In the class, students will designed their telescopes with their creativity. The results will be showed in the entrance of the school. |
