| Event Description: | This event is all about the tribute to the advancement of technologies and progress made by us in this field.we the students will be spreading awareness on isro,mangalayan mission and many mire things.....we will be doing many activities to make this week in our school and around it a good experience. Our page on fb is made to spread awareness,current affairs ,news and games so to get excellent future from the absorbment qualities of our young generation and get their interest in this field . |

| Report on the Results: | As a part of the WSW’2014 celebrations, the astronomy club of Modern School Barakhamba Road conducted an event on 20th October 2014 which had an audience of over 500.The event consisted of :- 1 .Introduction to WSW, in which the participants explained what exactly it is all about along with a presentation. 2. Loving ISRO, participants explained the birth, history, present, future and missions of ISRO along with a presentation. 3. Exchange of Ideas, a debate cum discussion on the topic “ TIME TRAVELLING IS POSSIBLE.” 4.Parade,consisting of 5 minutes in which the students were dressed up as scientists ,volunteers, astronomical news reporters and went around the hall greeting and discussing various topics and current affairs. 5. Creative Hands , an exhibition presented by the members of Module 1 &2,consisting of a telescope model ,and boards. 6.Solar system ,face painting: the students formed a solar system with their face painted according to different planets ,meteors, sun, asteroid etc. And ,the highlight of the event “ Mangalyaan Skit” was a hilarious one which made everyone’s stomach ache with fun filled acting. The astronomy club of Modern school ,Barakhamba road also made up online setups on facebook ,google+(hangouts),twitter and also a blogging website ,which received a good amount of audience and many exciting inspirations. We are also in the progress of setting up our own YouTube broadcasting channel which will be all related to space, news , facts and many more exciting contests etc. The channel‘s launch date is 15th November 2014.
