| Event Description: | Our school has been participating in the celebration of World Space Weeksince 2013. We implemented the project in Otočac Elementary School and Vrhovine and Švica Elementary School. The task was distributed by class. After watching the presentation and the films, the 7th and 8th grade students expressed their thoughts about space and how the space programs implemented by some countries can affect life on Earth with a discussion and a short essay on the topic. The topic of the essay was: What is the role of satellites and how can they help prevent climate change? The students of the lower grades watched a short film and a presentation about space and satellites, and then received prepared sheets of the space coloring book. Their works are displayed on a billboard in the Vrhovine and Švica preschools. Students of the 7th and 8th grades of primary school and all students of primary schools in Vrhovina and Švica participated. |

| Report on the Results: | 114 students and 5 teachers participated in the celebration of this year's Space Week. By analyzing the results, the conclusion is that this year's celebration only encouraged students to be more interested in space, satellites and how they affect climate change and life on Earth. |
