| Report on the Results: | The Museum of Cosmonautics and Rocket Technology in St. Petersburg is named after Valentin Petrovich Glushko, head of the II Department of the Gasdynamic Laboratory (GDL), which was located on Zayachy Island in 1932-1933. The exposition is located in the former halls and offices of the scientific institution. Much attention at the exhibition of the Cosmonautics Museum is paid to the role of Leningrad scientists and designers in the development of Russian rocket engineering. Visitors will be able to see restored classrooms, workshops with photographs, documents, and drawings. The exhibition features real spacecraft that have been in space. Among them is the descent vehicle of the Soyuz—16 spacecraft, which returned to Earth in the winter of 1974; a wheel block for the Lunar Rover chassis with control panels. Museum guests will see spacesuits for spacewalking, pilot suits, food samples created for zero gravity conditions and other interesting artifacts.
