| Event Description: | World Space Week is being celebrated from October 4 to 10, and the students at our school took part in the celebration with an exhibition on this theme. They investigated what is hidden in the universe, what the Sun looks like, what happens in it and how long it lives. They learned about the planets and their satellites and the structure of planet Earth. They investigated how the night sky changes and why the constellations are always visible to us, some sometimes and some never. In cooperation with the Varaždin Astronomical Society, we will also exhibit a replica of the famous Hrašćina meteorite, which fell near the town of Hrašćina in Hrvatski Zagorje on May 26, 1751. |
