Event Name:  Space and Entrepreneurship
Event Description:  4-5 October : • Space Week was announced under the title “Space and Climate Change” and published on social media among students and school staff. • Students were encouraged to participate and learn about the importance of this topic. • Each student was given the opportunity to choose the type of participation that suits her personal inclinations and talents. • Some students were introduced to the concept of climate change and how to prepare research on the topic, with discussion of ideas that can be applied. • An electronic wall was created to collect contributions (Padlet) , and the link was published among students and school staff. 6 October : • The practical activities of the program were launched by holding a morning school radio broadcast on space and climate change, with the participation of second-year secondary school students during the morning assembly. • The contributions of students and school staff on the topic were collected, and in cooperation with volunteer students, a special corner was created and arranged in the resource room. • The topic of space and climate change was activated in the classrooms by showing a short video at the beginning of each class. 7 October : • Continuing the efforts of the first day in the resource room, the incoming contributions were collected and a model of the Earth was displayed showing the climate changes that occurred, made by the students. • Distributing awareness brochures about space and climate change to increase awareness of this topic. 8 October: • The remaining contributions were collected and displayed in the space and climate change corner, while motivating the students to continue their creativity as future leaders. • Giving a PowerPoint presentation about space and climate change in the presence of a group of middle school students and their staff, in addition to the school principal, Ms. Arej Al-Jadaani. • Warning about the effects of climate change such as rising temperatures and melting ice, with videos showing potential effects such as hurricanes and floods. 9 October: • Re-presenting the PowerPoint presentation to another group of high school students. • Organizing a “Meet the Guest” event with the embodiment of the character of Rayana Barnawi by one of the students, and highlighting the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in supporting science, development, and space exploration. • Emphasizing the importance of the individual's role in causing climate change, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and ways to reduce it. • Holding a coloring activity within the classes for primary school students, using images related to space and climate change to increase their awareness of this topic. 10 October : • Organizing a special remote meeting, attended by some classes, on the occasion of World Space Week under the title "Space and Climate Change", with the participation of the official spokesperson, astronaut Ali Al-Qarni. • Emphasizing the last point in the program related to possible solutions to reduce climate change, such as afforestation, reducing the use of plastic, and innovating environmentally friendly means of transportation. • Concluding the program with a special event, where attendees wrote inspiring and motivating words that encourage space exploration and pushing boundaries, while encouraging continued learning.

Raising climate awareness among students: It is recommended to continue raising awareness about climate change and its impact on the environment by including this topic in the school curricula and organizing similar events periodically. 2. Encouraging scientific research and student projects: Students should be supported in conducting research on space and climate change, and encouraged to provide innovative solutions to the environmental challenges facing the world. 3. Focusing on afforestation and the green environment: Recommending the adoption of afforestation projects and increasing green spaces inside and outside the school, as part of efforts to reduce climate change. 4. Reducing the use of plastic and encouraging recycling: Focusing on the importance of reducing the use of plastic materials and paying attention to applying recycling principles in the daily lives of students and school staff. 5. Activating clean technology: It is recommended to raise awareness about the importance of using environmentally friendly transportation technologies, and encouraging innovations that contribute to reducing carbon emissions. 6. Benefiting from digital educational resources: Enhancing the use of digital educational resources and awareness videos about space and climate change, to increase interaction and continuous learning. 7. Organizing meetings with space and climate experts: Hosting experts and specialists in the fields of space and climate on a regular basis to open interactive discussions that enhance understanding and inspire students. 8. Instilling a sense of personal responsibility: Emphasizing the role of each individual in reducing climate change, and encouraging them to take small steps in their daily lives that contribute to improving the environment. 9. Continuing awareness programs: Expanding the program to include other areas related to the environment and space, with a focus on practical, sustainable solutions.
